Visiting Artists (several times a
year)
At least twice a year, we bring in a visiting artist to teach special
classes. In the past we have had
Maria Rypan teach us about
Ukrainian beadwork, Bethany Barry showed us how to bead crochet and
Jeannette Cook
is coming in October to share her talents in peyote.
Beading Bees (as often as we plan
them)
Beading Bees are an informal gathering of several club members to work
on projects, fellowship, etc. Sometimes at the CABO meetings we
don't have enough time to talk to everyone and when it comes to beading,
we all have so much to talk about! That's why the Beading Bees
were started.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12: Beading Bee. A
Jewelry Swap!
Bring jewelry or beads you are no longer wearing or that don’t appeal to
you anymore. Make sure they are clean and in good condition. Then swap
them with others at the
party. Whatever you like, you can take it home with you. There are no
limits or restrictions on the number of items you can bring or take
home. We will donate all the remaining items to a local charity.
Everyone should bring a beverage or a favorite snack to share.
More info to come! Email April to at
fieldsapril@nc.rr.com with
questions or to sign up.
